Holidays & Observances in Mozambique
Mozambique is a country in southeast Africa. It is one of the poorest countries in the world, but it has been experiencing lots of economic growth in recent years. Both culturally and religiously, Mozambique is a very diverse country. It is home to many different cultural groups who follow different beliefs and customs. Many of these people are Christian or Muslim, but indigenous beliefs are still important to the Mozambique people and are often practiced side by side with popular beliefs. Holidays celebrated, and how they are celebrated vary from tribe to tribe.
