The holidays are a time when people love to gather and eat! And many holidays are all about baking with desserts and sweets as symbols of the holiday. This column is all about enjoying all the holiday baking while sticking to a Mediterranean style diet.

It includes a moderate intake of lean proteins, a high consumption of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats, primarily from olive oil.
