- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely.
- Once cooled, slice the cake in half horizontally and spread a layer of apricot jam on the bottom half. Place the top half of the cake over the jam.
- For the glaze, melt the remaining chocolate over a double boiler and pour it over the top of the cake, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
