Walk in the Sand Day

Walk in the Sand Day was established to celebrate the beauty and health benefits of walking on the beach. Walk in the Sand Day is observed the Saturday following the March Equinox to be celebrated at every beach across the world when the change of season occurs to enjoy the seasonal changes and the natural elements. 

Walk in the Sand Day was created by beach activist, Patti Jewel, to share the love of walking on the beach and get more people to appreciate the beauty of nature with the feeling of the breeze and sound of the waves as you exercise your body. 

Walk in the Sand Day is the day to unite the world through the love of the beach, sand in the toes, and the shared joy that is brings no matter where you are in the world.
