Burns' Day

Burn’s Day is a Scottish holiday that celebrates popular Scottish poet Robert Burns, famous for penning many poems including Auld Lang Syne. On this night (or sometimes on a nearby night) people hold dinners known as Burns Suppers, which follow a standard format and include traditional Scottish dishes and recitations of Burns’ poetry.
