Holiday films are a sub-genre all their own. “Big” holidays like Christmas and Halloween have some extremely popular movies dedicated to their celebration. Some holidays simply match up to an established genre, like Valentine’s Day and romantic comedies. And then there are also observances that celebrate the importance of television and film, and some that even have their own genre to help us get into the spirit of celebration.
