Science Fiction Day celebrates the popular genre on the birthdate of one of its most beloved authors, Isaac Asimov. Asimov wrote many amazing science fiction novels, the most famous of which is his Foundations series. He was able to write stories that were imbedded with real science because of his experience as a biochemistry professor. In addition to his novels he also wrote nonfiction science books that helped teach people across the country about science and technology.

Science Fiction Day is a day to celebrate not only Asimov, but also other science fiction authors, books, and movies that have impacted the lives of fans everywhere. This is the perfect holiday for geeks and nerds to celebrate what they love with pride.
