Isra and Mi’raj (also called Al Isra' wal-Miraj, Laylat al-Isra wa al-Miraj, Shab-e-Miraj, and several other names in different regions) is a Muslim holiday that celebrates Muhammad’s ascension from Earth to Heaven. It falls on the 27th day of the month of Rjab.
