Vanuatu is an island country in the Pacific Ocean. It was once dually owned by the British and the French, and that sense of coexistence still marks the attitude of the country as a whole. Many different ethnicities call Vanuatu home. This includes indigenous peoples, Asians, Europeans, and Pacific Islanders, all of whom live in harmony with one another despite having vastly different cultures.
