Family Day

Family Day is a day to take off work and school and spend time with the family. It is celebrated in Alberta, Ontario, and Saskatchewan on the third Monday in February and in British Colombia on the second Monday in February.

Many businesses and schools in those provinces are closed on Family Day, allowing people to enjoy activities as a family. Because the holiday falls in February, these activities are often winter themed.
