The Feast of San Gennaro

Naples

San Gennaro Day is a holiday celebrated in Naples, Italy to honor the city’s patron saint. It is now also an 11 day street fair in Little Italy in New York City. It was brought to the city by Italian immigrants and soon transformed into something unique and entirely separated from the original saint celebration. A similar festival began in Las Vegas in 1986 and in Los Angeles in 2002.
