Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This month is all about educating the public to put an end to sexual assault. Many people who are sexually assaulted are afraid to come forward because they are not always believed. Encouraging victims to come forward and believing them when they do is the first step to ending sexual assault.
