Food Service Safety Month

December is Worldwide Food Service Safety Month! This month's observation was created in 1994 to heighten the awareness of food safety education, especially in the food service industry. Many germs and diseases can settle into the organic material used in and around cooking stations. In order to prevent widespread illness, it's important to keep kitchens and other food workplaces clean and sanitized.
