Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month

January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Though the USA outlawed slavey a hundred and fifty years ago. Although we have made great strides since then, many men, women, and children are subject to human trafficking: a modern day form of slavery. President Barack Obama signed this observance into effect in 2015.
