Adopt a Shelter Cat Month
June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month!
It's kitten season, so there are more cats than ever in need of loving homes. Consider adding a new cat to your home and visit your local shelter to find the right one for you. If you don't have room for a new cat, you can still participate by supporting animal shelters and helping to spread the word.

June is the month kitten season increases and with shelters getting full it’s time to adopt some fluffy cats. The main goal of Adopt a Shelter Cat Month is to advocate for the rescue and adoption of cats, providing a home for as many animals as possible.
American Humane is the pioneer organization that its main objective was to provide care, safety and to secure and strengthen the bond between animals and people. For decades American Humane has rescued, sheltered and protected countless of animals. During this time of the year it’s encouraged across the country to rescue cats from shelters and/or rescue groups.
One of the largest humane organizations in the world is the well-known American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), is an organization that takes care of animals, aiming to make a difference by fundraising on their behalf. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, suggests hosting an event or fundraising online to spread Awareness of Adopt a Shelter Cat Month.
