Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month

May is Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month! This is a monthly holiday in the United States that recognizes the contributions of Asian and Pacific Islanders to American culture for decades. Many museums across the country pay tribute to the people of these cultures throughout the month. Teachers are encouraged to prepare lessons about Asian Americans for their students.
