Adopt a Shelter Dog Month

October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month sponsored by the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) to bring awareness to dogs that are homeless in shelters all across America and need a good home. 

Every year, thousands of animals are rescued and given a second chance. These animals are taken in by shelters and receive complete medical care, vaccinations, spay/neuter, so that they are ready to go home to a new loving family. These adorable dogs are waiting for the 

If you are considering adopting a dog, these adorable animals in need are waiting at your local shelters. If you are not ready or in the right place to adopt a dog this October, but still want to help, you can host a fundraiser or donate directly to the ASPCA or your local animal shelter so that they can rescue and help more animals.
