Wilderness Month

September is National Wilderness Month! In 2013, President Obama proclaimed this monthly holiday to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Wilderness Act, which changed America's public land conservation laws and led to many national and state parks across the country. Celebrate by getting outside and visiting some of your local parks.
