St. Andrew's Day

St. Andrew’s Day is a bank holiday in Scotland, celebrating the region’s patron saint. It also celebrates Scottish pride. Displaying the Scottish flag is very important on St. Andrew’s Day, and many government buildings replace the Union flag with the flag of Scotland for the day. There are also many public celebrations and parties thrown in most Scottish cities.
