Backwards Day is January 31st

Backward Day, much like opposite day, was probably invented by children wanting to have a day to talk and walk backwards all day. Don’t worry about being different on January 31st. This is a day to do everything the wrong way around.

Celebrate Backwards Day with these fun and silly ideas. 

1. Wear your clothes backwards
2. Walk backwards
3. Serve meals on upside-down plates
4. Sleep on your bed backwards
5. Turn the chairs backward
6. Turn books and other shelved items backwards
7. Try talking in backwards sentences (sentences backwards in talking try)
