Cheese Pizza Day is a holiday to celebrate one of the most popular foods all around the world. There’s a reason cheese pizza is usually served at parties and get togethers: it’s a pretty safe bet that most people love it. Versions of cheese pizza (flat bread topped with cheese) have existed in societies since ancient Greece, but the version we know and love now came from Italy. Though, it wouldn’t be possible without tomatoes, which were originally found in the Americas. So cheese pizza is truly a global collaboration
