Corn chips are exactly what you think: a snack made from cooked cornmeal. The first corn chip is from 1932, the ‘Frito’. Although most corn chips are tortilla chips or resemble Fritos, there are thousands of flavor combinations and brands - your options are incredible. Browse some popular options below:

How to Celebrate Corn Chip Day

The normal way: 

• Eat your favorite corn chip brands
• Try baking your own

The fun way: 

• Crush corn chips when you’re angry or trying to make new percussion sounds for your band
• Use said crushed chips to try on food items: hot dog, PB & J, soup/chili, burrito bowl, or salad. More recipes here.
• Invite your friends over and have a blind corn chip tasting contest, see who guess flavors/brands the most accurately. Maybe reward the winner with a homemade corn chip crown.
• Visit a chip factory and try to taste a fresh one off the manufacturing line
