This day is one out of eighty days they created as ideas for possible holidays and many are celebrated across the nation. Thomas Roy created these holidays as a radio host in order to encourage people to celebrate. Embrace Your Geekness Day is all about celebrating something you enjoy that is labelled as geeky or nerdy. It is observed and celebrated in different ways by each person. Someone who loves anime may cosplay as their favorite character while another person that enjoys Star Trek may teach themselves Klingonese.
