International Day for the Abolition of Slavery is December 2nd

Designated by the United Nations (resolution 317(IV) to bring awareness to and focus on the eradication of contemporary forms of slavery including trafficking, sexual exploitations, forced marriage, extreme child labour and child recruitment for armed conflict.
