Jelly Bean Day is April 22nd

Jelly Bean Day celebrates Jelly Beans of all flavors and colors. Jelly beans have been around since at least 1861, when William Schrafft campaigned to have jelly beans made by his Boston company sent to soldiers in the Civil War. They were eventually connected to Easter because of their egg-like shape. It is because of this that Jelly Bean Day is celebrated on April 22nd, which is usually after Easter when lots of people have tons of leftover jelly beans.
