K-9 Veterans Day

K-9 Veterans Day is March 13th

Dogs have been serving in the military and with the police since 1942. They are an important part of the force because they can do things that humans can’t. They’re fast, strong, loyal, and they have noses that can identify much more than their human counterparts. These dogs commit acts of bravery everyday, and many of them risk their lives protecting their partners. On K-9 Veterans Day we honor all those K-9’s who put their lives on the line and remember those who don’t make it through.
