Left Handers Day is August 13th

Being left handed in a world designed to favor right handed people can be difficult. About 7-10 % of the world’s population is believed to be left handed. The issues these individuals face are mostly invisible to people who don’t have to deal with them. Everything from sports equipment, to musical instruments, to daily household items are designed to be used by right handers. Left Handers Day raises awareness about these issues and what can be done to help make the world more left hander-friendly.
