Microwave Oven Day is December 6th

Microwave ovens are pretty cool things. They allow you to easily heat or reheat food much faster than you could do in the oven or on the stove. The microwave was first patented on October 8th, 1945 and it has been growing in popularity ever since. Today there is a microwave in about 90% of American households. Microwave Oven Day celebrates the wonderful invention every year on December 6th.
