Monkey Day

Monkey Day is December 14th

Monkey Day is a holiday dedicated to monkeys and other primates. This day is mostly about spreading awareness for monkeys and the problems they face, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun! Many people throw parties on this day where people are encouraged to act, or even dress, like monkeys. Some of these events may raise money for foundations that benefit primates. This is also a great day to visit the zoo and spend a little extra time in the monkey house. Some zoos may even have special events on this day.
