Mother Father Deaf Day

Mother Father Deaf Day is a holiday for children of deaf adults (also called codas) to celebrate their deaf parents. There are many deaf adults with hearing children, and it can be a unique parent-child relationship. Because these children often are integrated into the deaf community more than most hearing people, they often go into careers helping deaf people. Mother Father Deaf Day is celebrated on the last Saturday in April.
