Shut-in Visitation Day

National Shut-in Visitation Day is February 11th

Many people in the world are unable to leave their home due to physical or mental illnesses. These people can start to feel very lonely and bored if they don't have visitors coming to see them often enough. They are so cut off from the world, so they need visitors to keep them connected. But it can be easy for their loved ones to get busy and forget about them. If you know a shut-in, this is the day to plan a visit with them! If you don't, try to plan a visit to a nursing home or hospital where many people may not be able to leave their rooms and could use some company!
