Ingredients:

• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 cup old-fashioned oats
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
• 2 large eggs, beaten
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 1 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla. Slowly mix in dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in raisins or cranberries, if desired.
