There’s nothing better than a red, juicy strawberry picked straight from the vine. Pick Strawberries Day is a holiday dedicated to going to strawberry farms and picking your own fruit. This is a great way to choose your own perfect strawberries. It can also be an excellent opportunity to teach your kids about farming practices and where their food comes from. Strawberry picking season starts in late April and goes on through the summer, so this is the perfect time to get out there. And if you can’t make it on May 20th, you have the rest of the summer to pick some strawberries!
