A Room of One's Own Day is January 25th

Today celebrates the feminist legacy of English author Virginia Woolf who wrote A Room of One's Own in 1929. This book was ahead of it's time in addressing the needs of a woman to have their own room or space to be creative and follow their own passions. The day is observed on Virginia Woolf's birthday on January 25, 1882.
