Save the Koala Day is the last Friday in September which is Save the Koala Month. Save The Koala Day is all about raising awareness of the threats koalas face and what we can do to help them. There are lots of different events you can get involved in, or you can simply spread the word to your friends and family.

Koalas are one of Australia’s most iconic animals and are native to Australia. They can be found in many of the country's forests. Unfortunately, koalas are currently listed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List due to a number of threats, including habitat loss and fragmentation, disease, and vehicle collisions.

So why not do your bit to help save these special animals and celebrate Save The Koala Day!
