Seed Gathering Day (Start of Season)

Seed Gathering Season

Celebrate the start of Seed Gathering Season which is established by the National Tree Council (NTC) from September 23 thru October 23. 

During this month long celebration, you are encouraged to take a walk anywhere there are trees, pick up a few seeds, and plant them in another location. The idea is to build awareness and teach harvesting of trees while preserving native trees.
