Smigus Dyngus Day (Dingus), also known as Wet Monday

This popular Polish Celebration is traditionally a day of fun celebrated the day after Easter. In Poland, this day is celebrated similarly to the Irish St. Patrick's Day, with parades, drinking and fun festivals. The tradition of Wet Monday on this day involves the boys soaking the girls and the girls then soaking the boys. Several localities have fun water events on this day to allow everyone to equally play in the water fight.
