Techno Day is a holiday dedicated to celebrating techno, a music genre that is growing in popularity all around the world. The date for the holiday was chosen to coincide with the birthday of Juan Atkins, who is widely considered the originator of techno music along with Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson. Celebrate the holiday by playing your favorite techno music at full volume. It’s also a good day to introduce techno to someone new.
