World Day for War Orphans is a day to raise awareness to the International Community of the numerous amounts of children who are affected by the outcome of warfare and left without families. This is a day to remember that there are children all over the world affected by war and every one of them deserves a better future. 

Civilians of certain nations that have become war zones face the brunt of the suffering in war without choice. Those who suffer the most of the large amount of war victims are the neglected children left without families as a result of their loved ones becoming casualties from the war. This holiday is in honor of them and bringing light to the injustices that they face.
