The world wide web - commonly known as the www you find in front of URLs - is a network that allows you to connect to people all around the world using the internet. The invention of the internet is one of the most important inventions of the modern age, but without the world wide web browsing the internet wouldn’t be quite as easy as it is now. World Wide Web Day celebrates this part of our daily lives that we often take for granted.
